At Mittineague Center for Early Learning, our experienced, caring, and dedicated staff are committed to providing every child with a safe, nurturing, and enriching early learning experience. Many of our educators are certified by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care (EEC) and bring a wealth of knowledge, professionalism, and compassion to their classrooms each day.
We believe that exceptional early childhood education begins with highly qualified educators. Our teaching team is committed to continuous professional growth through ongoing training, professional development, and higher education in the field of early childhood education. By working collaboratively and staying current with best practices, our educators provide developmentally appropriate, engaging, and meaningful learning experiences that foster each child's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.

Gregory Sienko- Center Licensee/President
Greg is a founding member and has proudly served on the Board of Directors for more than 20 years. With a background in business management, Greg brings valuable leadership, organizational expertise, and financial insight to the Board. His longstanding commitment and dedication have played an important role in the continued growth and success of the school.
Lorena Sienko- Executive Director
Lorena is one of the founding members and has been an integral part of the organization since its inception. She brings extensive experience in sales, marketing, and business management to the school. Her dedication, leadership, and longstanding commitment have been instrumental in supporting the school's mission of providing high-quality early childhood education
for children and families in the community.
Kate O'Neil- Director
Kate has dedicated more than 15 years to the school. beginning her career as an Assistant Teacher and advancing through the organization to become Director. Her extensive experience in early childhood education, combined with her commitment to excellence, provides strong leadership for the school. Kate is a graduate of Westfield State University and is currently pursuing her
Master's degree at Fitchburg State University. She is passionate about providing high quality early education and fostering a nurturing
environment where children, families, and staff can thrive.
Kelly Hadley- Assistant Director
Kelly joined the team in the spring of 2023 and has been working in the field of early childhood education since 2016. She has just recently earned a Bachelor's Degree from Umass Amherst and is dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for every child. Kelly's experience, enthusiasm, and commitment to early childhood education make her a valued member of the team.
Heather- Infant Teacher in Caterpillars
Heather is Infant/Toddler Certified has been teaching for over 8 years. She has always been inspired by her passion for working with children. She enjoys the opportunity to watch our infants reach each milestone and hopes each child feels they are happy and well cared for. Heather enjoys camping, hiking and taking adventures with her family.
Mia-Toddler Teacher in Ladybugs
Mia is Infant/Toddler and Preschool certified and has been teaching for over 2 years. She was inspired by her love of small children and loves taking care of and teaching the toddler age group. She hopes they feel loved and cared for at the end of each day. Mia is funny, caring and welcoming. She enjoys buldng Legos and loves Spiderman.
Paola- Toddler Teacher in Ladybugs
Paola is Infant/Toddler and Preschool certified and has been teaching for over 4 years. She was Inspired by her high school teacher to work with children. She loves teaching the younger children and hopes that every child leaves at the end of the day feeling loved and cared for. Paola enjoys reading and snowboarding and is fluent in spanish and english.
Tania- Toddler Teacher in Dragonflies
Tania is Infant/Toddler certified and has been teaching for over 4 years. She is inspired by knowing that she is making a difference for the children at such an early age. She hopes every child feels inspired and loved at the end of each day. Tania is caring, loving and patient. She enjoys, shopping, going to the gym and spending time with her pet Rabbit.
Pam- Toddler Teacher in Honey Bees
Pam is Infant/Toddler certified and has been teaching for over 31 years. She holds a CDA in Early Education. Her biggest inspiration is watching each child meet their individual milestones. Pam wishes for each child to leave at the end of each day feeling happy, safe and loved. Pam is kind and compassionate. She enjoys reading, a scary movie and a cozy blanket.
Giana- Preschool Teacher in Fireflies
Giana is Lead Teacher certified in Infant/Toddler and Preschool. She holds a CDA in Early Education and has been teaching for over 6 years. Being a child in the foster system has inspired her to become a teacher and to help children to feel safe and loved. She is conscientious, generous and inquisitive. Giana enjoys crafting and baking. She has 2 dogs, 4 turtles and fish.
Clair- Preschool Teacher in Fireflies
Clair is Infant/Toddler and Preschool certified and has been teaching for over 21 years. She was intriduced to the field by a family member and has never looked back. She hopes for the children to express to ther families upon pick up how great their day was. Clair is kind and compassionate. She enjoys swimming, reading and rollerblading.
Cici- Preschool Teacher in Frogs
Cici is Preschool certified and has been teaching for over 7 years. She holds a Bachelor's Degree and a Certificate in ASD. She was inspired to work with chidren by a Family member with ASD and vowed to help every child feel as though they are welcome and accepted. Cici enjoys reading, lesson planning, event planning and she loves sharks.
Savannah- Preschool teacher in Minnows
Savannah is Toddler and Preschool certified and has been teaching for over 5 years. Her passion for watching children learn and grow inspired her to become an Early education teacher. Savannah wants for children in her care to fee happy and loved at the end of each day. She is happy, chatty, bubbly and her favorite past times are reading and shopping.

We also hire non-licensed assistant teachers for extra
classroom support.
All employees undergo a full background record check which includes
a CORI, DCF, SORI and Fingerprinting as part of this process.
